Pocha K has been a go-to spot for late-night Korean food after parties or nights out together. This place gets pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights, I just wish they had a waitlist option online! Once in 2022 I came with a party of 15 and we waited around an hour and a half for our table, which was understandable. Typically, we spend around 30 minutes and wait outside for them to call us since the inside waiting area is rather limited. The interior plays loud Korean music and serves up a wide range of Korean dishes, from KFC to rapokki to corn cheese. The soy garlic Korean fried chicken here is quite good, and I'm not even a big fan of it. They do go pretty overkill on the mozzarella here, which is perfect for cheese enjoyers. You can't go to Pocha K without ordering their signature pocha fries, which is ketchup, mayo, and mustard drizzled on a heaping plate of Cheetos and French fries. Even though the prices are high, if you're with a group they'll be reasonable, and the portions are absolutely massive. There is a lot of competition on the El Camino Real strip for late-night Korean food, and this one is most popular with young people/teenagers for good reason!

I went to Pocha K with a group of friends, and we had such a fun time! We went a bit early, so it wasn't too busy, and we didn't have to wait. The service was quick and really nice, which made the experience even better. Just a heads-up and since this is a pocha (Korean pub), the food is on the heavier side, so come hungry! Here's what we ordered: Soy Garlic Boneless Chicken: So good! The chicken was crispy, and the soy garlic sauce had a nice sweetness that paired perfectly. I also loved the pickled radish as a palate cleanser and it balanced everything out. Kimchi Fried Rice: A solid dish! Nothing too crazy, just your classic kimchi fried rice. Still tasty, and we all enjoyed it. Steamed Egg: I loved this! It had a strong fishy flavor (which I personally enjoyed), and it was super comforting. Rabokgi: This was good! Not too spicy, and I really liked how all the flavors came together. Pork Belly: Probably my favorite dish of the night! It was so good, especially when eaten with the fried rice. By the end of the meal, I was so full and I couldn't eat another bite! Overall, we had a great time, and I'd definitely come back for another fun night out.

Everything we tried here was so good! The egg fried rice, fried chicken, and fish soup were my favorites. Service was fast and efficient! Just a heads-up--it gets very loud inside, so it might not be the best spot for a quiet meal or conversation.

Pocha K is best late night Korean food spot! The inside is super aesthetic with the lights and the hanging Soju bottle caps. Perfect spot for a date night or with friends. The staff was super friendly. We ordered the kimchi fried rice and it was yummy. The flavor was perfect. The chicken was a bit salty but so rich in flavor (It comes with radishes) The rice cake portion was HUGE. Super delicious.

Pocha K is a solid Korean lounge for drinking and enjoying comfort food. It's open late, making it a great spot to gather with friends. Dimly lit and cozy with twinkling lights, the space features fun decor throughout. You may find their wall of soju bottle caps, a giant Jinro frog figure, or a cardboard cutout of Blackpink's Jennie. There is a limited menu, but most dishes are perfect for sharing. The fried chicken is tender and crispy, and it's a favorite among every group I've been with. Be sure to pair it with the corn cheese or fried rice! Service is always kind and welcoming. Highly recommend for late night hangouts!

Great place to stop by for late night eats! Got the fried rice, kimchi fried rice, rabokki, and corn cheese. My personal favorite was the rabokki -- the textures and flavors blend so well together! The interior is decorated in classic pocha style and the tables are smaller but spaced well -- creating a cozy vibe. Service was fast. Would come again for some quality late night food! (I don't really drink, but my friends said good things about the alcohol here)

Great place to smolder the night away with loud conversation, cold alcohol, and Korean snack foods. The interior is designed like a street alley and you know some serious drinking has happened here with the ceiling and divider walls decorated with soju bottle caps. My friends wanted to do "something simple" so we came here and thought there was no way we would get close to the 3 hour table limit. Pocha K ended up being the beginning of a long night that ended at 4am. It's the kind of place to start your journey and carry on the fun vibes into the rest of the evening. Chicken gizzard and pork belly: comes on a hot stone dish still sizzling and steaming. Both were well cooked and garnished. The gizzard was a chewy delight and the pork belly was clean and tender. Fried chicken: I loved the portion size, it wasn't too big. The radish and cabbage were cut smaller and thinner than normal and I prefer it like this. Fried chicken was great and we finished everything off the plate. Kimchi fried rice: Came with a delicious soft-cooked Sunnyside up egg on top. The green onion and seaweed on the side gave the dish some appealing color and made it seem more healthy than just the standard vibrant red. Clam soup: Such a nice clean broth! Had a gentle ocean taste and was so much more savory and fulfilling on a cold and rainy day. The fried section looked fun and we saw a dish that looked like flaming hot Cheetos and cheese on top of fries. We ordered the Pork Tonkatsu and it was a sight to behold, easily the size of a small pizza, we cut it up into a grid and destroyed two of them. The gravy it comes with was fantastic.

Came here for a friend's graduation celebration with 4 other people. It was kind of difficult to get into the parking lot as it was easy to miss when going down the main thoroughway. The place was packed as soon as we got in where we needed to write our names down. Wait was incredibly quick and reasonable for a Saturday night at maybe 10-15 minutes. As I'm not a local to San Jose [only housing wise at this point ;) ], my friends told me this was the go-to-spot for late night eats and drinking. We ate family style ordering two different fried rices (egg AND kimchee), the tteokbokki, pocha fries, soy garlic chicken, and pork belly. I'm not usually into korean food as I've always believed it was always a bit overhyped over others but Pocha K blew my mind. All the dishes tasted incredibly fresh, looked delicious, and tasted even better! We all were on our way to almost finishing everything but were so full at the end. There was enough after all five of us devoured and digested for our graduate to take home which he proclaimed he could make last a week! Incredible food, Great Vibes, and a fun place to bring large crowds for a reasonable night out! Will definitely return if I'm in the area again

Delicious spot! I've been here a few times and I thoroughly enjoy the food. Their menu is a bit limited in my opinion but has a lot of necessities. Their bar/drink selection is a bit limited but has terra and soju, which is usually the typical for Korean pochas. I like their service but it isn't amazing per se. It can get very busy on the weekends and weekdays as well so I recommend coming before 8:00pm if you're just trying to get food. Their food items take a while to come out and they come out usually one by one so keep that in mind. Their portions are huge and I absolutely love their donkatsu, super delicious! Their pricing seems fair too. Overall, a small restaurant but good food and vibes. I'd recommend if you're looking for good Korean bar style food.
